Sticky Control Agent for Paper Making

SCA-3000 is Stick Preventable Agent has Slight Cationic. It has been invented to prevent stick Pitch & Stickies on Process. It is to make lose Adhesive power of Pitch & Stickies, and prevent to build up Macro Particle of Pitch & Stickies.

Pitch : Microscopic Particles has Adhesive power in natural and Artificial. Natural Resin, Defoamers, Sizing Agent, Coating Binders and etc. It can be eliminated by Chemical Method (Normally using Coagulant)

Stickies : Microscopic Particles has Adhesive power from recycled Stock Waxes, Inks, Hot Melts, Contact Adhesive and etc.

It can be eliminated by Physical(Mechanical) Method

LAB  TEST  REFERENCE

Test method

1. Stickies Sample: Get from dryer doctor
2. 2.      Dissolve the Stickies Sample in acetone. (60C, 1hr, mix)
3. 3.      Add 10g of dissolved sample in two each sample bottle.
4. 4.      Put SCA-5000 0.5cc in a bottle, and the other is non-add. (shake 1 min and stay)
5. 5.      Compare the two samples.

Test result

-  The blank bottle has stickes on the surface as you see in the picture, but the bottle that added Sticky control agent(SCA-3000) 0.5cc has clear bottle.

-  The bottle that use Sticky control agent(SCA-3000) is recyclable, but non-treated bottle is difficult to clean and not easy to recyclable.

-  The bottle with SCA-3000 is slippery, but non-treated bottle is sticky inside.

-  As a result, the pitches and stickies in the machine will pollute and will occur various problems.
