Urethane thickener TH-1500
Chemical nature : TH1500 is the polyether type of associative thickener, which is efficient for emulsion paint as well as for aqueous coatings. It offers advantages of excellent flow and leveling properties.
Physical form : Cloudy, gray liquid
Storage : TH1500 has a shelf life of 12 months. The air in the headspace of bulk storage tanks must be kept saturated with water vapor at all times.
Application :
- TH 1500 is Newtonian rheology modifier for aqueous coatings, especially efficient for emulsion paint
- TH 1500 enhances leveling of paint but it does not give bad affection on the gloss of dry film.
- Blending of TH 1500 with the thixotropic thickening agent in coating systems can be used to achieve a desired rheological profile.
- TH 1500 can incorporated at any stage of grinding or let down process.
- TH 1500 is the ZERO VOC TYPE OF THICKENER.
Dosage :
- The dosage depends on system used. Normally it lies between 0.1%~1.0% on paint by solid on solid basis.
- TH 1500 is usually recommended to use itself without dilution with water, but to use in per-dilution with 2~3times water can be applicable.

Advantages
• TH-1009 is a Newtonian rheology modifier for aqueous coatings, especially efficient for emulsion paint.

TH-1009 has higher thixotropic properties than other Urethane thickener, so don’t need other extra thickener.

Dosage
• The dosage depends on system used. Normally it lies between 0.1~1.0% on paint by solid on solid basis
• TH-1009 usually use directly or 2~3times pre-dilution with water
Treatment(Handling precautions)
• Wear protective eyeglasses, glove and mask when handling.
• In case of contact with skin, wash thoroughly with soap.
• In case of contact with eyes, wash thoroughly with plenty of water immediately and get medical aid.
• In case of ingestion, move to well-ventilated place and get medical aid and soon as possible.
• Wash your hands with soap thoroughly and gargle after handling.
• Keep away from fire, heat or any other possible source of ignition when handling and storing
• Store inside of warehouse before/after use in order to maintain high efficiency.
