ANTIFOAM E-10A
Defoaming agent for Latex systems
Antifoam E-10A is recommended for use in Latex system formulations. Antifoam E-10A will eliminate existing foam, and also remain in the water to prevent further foam build up.
1.DEFINITION : Self-Emulsifying Antifoamer developed in view of fighting foam in all synthetic latex systems.
2.TYPICAL PROPERTIES A.Type : Compounded blend of phosphate. B.Appearance : Light Yellow Liquid C.Active content : 100% Active D.Ionic nature : Weak Anion (nearly Nonionic) E.Specific Gravity(at 25?) : 0.920 ± 0.02 F.Solubility : Readily dispersed in Water
3.APPLICATION A.Input Value : Using 0.1 – 1.0 on the total formulatons quantity is generally adequate. B.It is changeable depend on water condition.
4.ADVANTAGES A.Liquid for easy handling B.Does not create Fish-Eyes C.Effective Antifoam D.Effective Deaerating performance
5.CONDITIONS OF USE Antifoam E-10A is marketed as a 100% active-matter-content product. Because of its low-viscosity liquid form, hence its practically instant water miscibility, it can be added to the baths to be defoamed either as is, or in the form of an emulsion obtained upon its diluting with water, while slightly agitating. Antifoam E-10A, as is, or in the emulsion form, can be fed by any conventional process : metering pump, drop-by-drop feeding, etc….. If Antifoam E-10A stock solutions have been stored for a long time, it is recommended to stir them before use.
6.ANTIFOAM MECHANISM Antifoam E-10A has a two-fold action : it acts as an antifoamer and a defoamer. Hence it is nearly universal use in foaming media. It should be noted that the antifoaming properties of Antifoam E-10A are more useful than its defoaming properties. Owing to its low tension, Antifoam E-10A very rapidly spreads at the liquid-gas interfaces, either on the bubble walls within the bath, or at the bath surface, where foam preferably forms.

Dispersant for Pigment and extenders in aqueous systems NTPERSE BD-154
NTPERSE BD-154 is modified sodium poly-acrylate whose molecular weight distributions are optimized for maximum dispersion of many kinds of pigments used in paper manufactures. NTPERSE BD-154 is as the dispersion of pigments for ceramics and the VISCOSITY Depressant and VISCOSITY stabilizer of proportion pigments. It is the best dispersion effect in PRECIPITATED CALCIUM CARBONATE(PCC), and has good dispersion effect in almost Pigment like as GCC, Clay, TiO2, ZnO, Al (OH)2, BaSO4, and so on. And it has little change of VISCOSITY after leaving alone for a long time. Also it is possible to use it in widely range from PH 5.5 to 14, it can the VISCOSITY be a little rise over pH 11. And as the NTPERSE BD-154 has the ANION electric charge, please do not mix with the strong CATION materials like CATION group wetting agent and the fourth grade ammonium salt.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Solid Contents (%) : 40.0 +- 1 pH (at 20C) : 8.0 +- 1 Appearance : Light Yellow Clear Liquid Solubility : Easily mix with WATER Stability : Six Month
APPLICATION It is recommended that NTPERSE BD-154 be added to the mixing water prior to the addition of pigment, as only in this way can the high solids content slip is prepared, and the best dispersion achieved in the most efficient manner. All types of mixing equipment can be used. The normal addition rate of NTPERSE BD-154 is ? For PCC Disperse : within the range 0.3-0.5% on dry ? For Clay Disperse : within the range 0.05-0.1% on dry ? For GCC Disperse : within the range 0.2-0.3% on dry
SPECIAL QUALITIES ? High solids content ? Low viscosity : Easy handle ? Viscosity stability ? Re-aggregation prevented ? Complete compatibility ? Product stability ? Sediments are possible.
HANDLING & STORAGE ? NTPERSE BD-154 may cause slight skin irritation due to removal of the natural fat of the skin. ? If the product comes in contact with the eye, these must immediately be rinsed with a large
amount of water during 15 minutes at least. ? Treat like normal water based emulsion, avoid freezing and keep container when not in use. ? NTPERSE BD-154 must be stored in a cool place and avoid to direct ray. ? If the containers are kept closed and stored by above condition, its shelf life is about 1Years
at 25C. ? Prolonged storage may induce slight setting of water or increase in viscosity. This is normal
and the product will readily re-disperse with moderate stirring. There is no loss in product
performance. ? Sediments are possible. |
